About This Year's ThemeThe 2016 TEAMS competition, “Engineering the Tools of Innovation,” will explore tools engineers use in areas such as space exploration, effective manufacturing and microscopy.
Focused on a theme each year, original academic and innovative concepts are developed for the TEAMS competition based on the National Academy of Engineering Grand Challenges. Tackling these challenges requires critical job-readiness skills such as collaboration, analytical thinking, and multidimensional problem-solving. This year's competition will be held at Colorado State University, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering & School of Education in the Scott Engineering Building on Wednesday, 3 February 2016. There is an additional fee of $50 per team. |
